A diamond is the hardest natural material on earth and is the only gemstone comprised of a single element, carbon. Since antiquity, a diamond's hardness has been prized as a symbol of love's endurance, which makes it the natural choice for engagement rings.

When we choose our diamonds, we choose them based on the amount of light play they exhibit or, I guess you could say, whether or not they're doing their job. Regardless of a diamond's internal characteristics, it must be beautiful to our eye.  In other words, it mush show brilliance, fire, and scintillation in order for us to choose it. Likewise, when you are choosing a diamond we want you to choose one with characteristics (color, cut, clarity, carat) that are most important to you.
