Dive into the depths of March with Aquamarine

Posted on February 26, 2019 //

“A March born shall always be
soothed by Aqua, gem of sea
this mermaid’s treasured stone you wear
will bring happiness, love, affection and care.”

The Latin word for seawater, Aquamarine, is said to calm waves and keep sailors safe. Known for its greenish and blue hues, it is also thought that it enhances the happiness in marriages. Not only is it the birthstone for March but it’s also the stone that represents a 19th wedding anniversary. Aquamarines grow in beryl formations and are found all over the world, we have many beautiful aquamarines right here in downtown Asheville, NC at Jewels That Dance!!

Paula Dawkins Fine Jewelry

Hi, I’m Paula Dawkins. Thanks so much for visiting Jewels That Dance and for all your support over the past 36 years.  After a wonderful run in downtown Asheville, Carol and I decided it was time to close Jewels That Dance.  After making this decision, I realized I wasn’t quite ready to stop doing what I so love: making jewelry!  I’ve decided to stay put in my studio and open a custom design and fine jewelry repair shop.  Pete, our master jeweler, is joining me and we invite you to visit Paula Dawkins Fine Jewelry.  We hope to see you soon.
